Terry Boston, 15, died when the Nissan Altima his brother, Makhi Boston, was driving crashed into a tree in Randolph around 10:30 p.m. on 701 N. Main Street (Route 28) on Tuesday, July 18, the Norfolk District Attorney's Office said.

Paramedics airlifted Makhi Boston, 18, to Boston Medical Center, where he died of his injuries Wednesday. Two women were also injured in the crash. Authorities did not release their names or their conditions Thursday.

Randolph police are investigating the cause of the crash.

Makhi Boston was a rising senior at Brockton High School and a standout on the football team, where he played on the offensive and defensive lines. Several college teams were attempting to recruit him. Terry followed in his brother's footsteps and was a star player for the Brockton Raiders youth football squad.

Despite their hulking stature, the boys were sensitive and caring, the GoFundMe said

Tragedy struck our family and the community of Brockton Tuesday night and our lives are forever changed. Terry and Makhi Boston the most caring, loving and genuine souls were taken from us far too soon. Nothing can prepare any of us for something as unimaginable as this. These Kings deserved so much more life.

A memorial balloon release and candlelight vigil for the teenagers is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, July 22, in the parking lot of Brockton High School.

We have watched these boys grow into young men. Both of their personalities were larger than life. They touched the lives of many and their lives were cut way too short. This one really hurts. Please keep the family in your prayers in this awful time.
